Ben Everitt - Workshop Supervisor

Ben has worked for BVA Metal Fabrications for 20 + years and over this time has helped build the Culture of a Flexible and efficient workshop that looks after a huge range of clients. He deals with the Day to Day running of the workshop Team to ensure the correct personnel are available to use throughout the works, Dealing with Detailed Drawings and Plans to ensure Fabrication works are Manufactured to and within client specifications, Ben does all final QA checks at the end of all Fabricated workshop items and ensures Safety and Quality is the Main Priority always. 



Ben works Closely with the Managing Director, Fabrication Estimator, Laser Supervisor, Project and Site Supervisors to Plan and Assist the Coordination with all Fabrication works throughout the Business, Production meetings are held weekly to organise and plan the works effectively to ensure all Clients receive the same Quality level of Service that exceeds expectations and that continues to build on our client base and works around the State for a large range of Clients.

John Has worked in The Mining, Forestry, Construction, Maintenance, and fabrication Industry for 19 years, 16 of these years in Management and Supervisory roles. Planning and coordinating all aspects of Workshop Fabrication works, Site Maintenance, Site shutdowns and Project works. In His current Role, John Quotes on all Fabrication, Site and Project works for BVA Metal fabrications and ensures the smooth planning and Transition through to the Completion and handover to our clients, with Supporting documentation as required, Assist with Managing operations, Material Data Documents and to ensure the correct Qualification of personnel are available to use throughout the works, Dealing with Detailed Drawings and Plans to ensure Fabrication works are Manufactured to and within specifications, ensuring Safety is our Main Priority always.

Gavin Hayes – Laser Supervisor

Gavin has worked in the metal fabrication industry for over 12 years. First working on a CNC plasma cutter and now on our fibre laser cutter. Gavin is self-taught in operating and maintaining our fibre laser cutter and in using programs such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, Camduct and Sigmanest. Gavin quotes on all laser cutting jobs, working closely with BVA’s Managing Director, Estimator, Workshop Supervisor and Site Supervisor to ensure the smooth transition from beginning to end of each project.

Gavin takes part in all Business/Production meetings held weekly to plan and organise all up and coming projects making sure all clients receive the same high-quality level of service.

Gavin’s knowledge in this field has helped BVA expand our business portfolio.

Ken Godley – Managing Director

Ken is the Managing Director of BVA Metal Fabrications. Ken completed his trade certificate in 1st Class Sheet Metal work in 1980 and has over 45 years of experience in the metal fabrication industry.



Ken works closely with his Workshop Supervisor, Fabrication Estimator/ Coordinator, Laser Supervisor and Site Supervisor to ensure that all workshop staff are working at full capacity to the best of their ability and that all projects are completed to highest quality ensuring all of our customers are receiving the best service and product possible. Ken also does his part in estimating new projects and pricing completed jobs. 


In 2007 Ken completed the Curtin Growth Program and in 2012 completed a Diploma of Management.
